We hope this message finds you well. The Dignity in Schools Campaign (DSC) is a national coalition of
over 100 organizations in 26 states and Washington D.C. working to end the school-to- prison pipeline.
We support alternatives to a culture of zero-tolerance, punishment, criminalization and the dismantling of
public schools. We join the Labor/Community Strategy Center, a member of our coalition, in calling on
school districts throughout the country and President Obama to end the Department of Defense 1033
Program’s lending of military weapons to law enforcement, including those working in K-12 public
schools….
